East Valley Foam and Coating LLC ("EVFC," "we," "us," or "our") operates an internal SMS text message program to send work-related operational notifications to its employees and crew members through our crew management system (EVFC Smart Scheduler). Messages include:
This is an employee/business notification program. Messages are sent only to people who have completed the opt-in form described in section 2. Providing a phone number to EVFC for any other reason does not enroll anyone in this program.
Employees and crew members opt in by completing the EVFC employee SMS opt-in form at evfchub.com/sms-optin. The form is public and requires no login. It asks for the employee's name and mobile number and shows a consent box that is unchecked by default. Ticking that box is optional: the page offers two buttons, “Submit” and “No thanks — no text messages”, and either one completes the form. Consent is recorded only when the box is ticked and Submit is chosen. Choosing “No thanks,” or submitting with the box unchecked, records a declination and no messages are ever sent to that number. The exact consent language shown next to the checkbox is:
I am an employee or crew member of East Valley Foam and Coating LLC, and I agree to receive work-related SMS text messages from EVFC about my daily work schedule and job assignments, weather alerts affecting scheduled work, check-in and check-out reminders, and end-of-day job summaries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment.
Each submission is stored as a dated consent record together with the exact disclosure text the employee agreed to. No number is added to the messaging program without a completed opt-in on that form.
Crew members may be told the form exists, but completing it is never part of hiring or onboarding, is not bundled into any agreement, and is not a condition of employment. Declining has no effect on a person's job, pay, hours, or schedule.
Only individuals who have completed that opt-in form receive these messages. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not share mobile information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies based on your work schedule. On workdays you may receive several messages (for example, a morning schedule, check-in/check-out reminders, and an end-of-day summary). You may receive no messages on days you are not scheduled to work.
You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message (other accepted keywords: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL, OPTOUT). After you send an opt-out message, we will send you a confirmation and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. Replying STOP is enough on its own and takes effect immediately — you do not need anyone's approval and do not need to go through your supervisor. If you would rather not text, you can instead ask company management to remove your number.
